Description
The Center for Educational Resources is pleased to offer Best Practices in University Teaching (BPUT): a 1.5 day workshop for faculty. The workshop will present pedagogical best practices used at Johns Hopkins and peer institutions.
This is a great opportunity for new faculty who are interested in learning about evidence-based teaching practices, and is open to JHU faculty and lecturers from all academic disciplines.

- 1.5 days held on Wednesday, January 15 from 8:00AM-5:00PM and Thursday, January 16 from 8:00AM-2:00PM

This program is recommended for Faculty in their first few years of teaching, but ALL faculty are welcome to participate.

The CER provides a variety of programs and services for faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the John Hopkins University's Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering including teaching resources, educational technology and tools, and a number of instruction-related publications. CER staff members meet with faculty to discuss course enhancements, manage the Technology Fellowship program, collaborate with faculty on grant projects, and offer structured opportunities for faculty to learn about educational innovations.
